Las Vegas airportLas Vegas McCarran International Airport Introduction

Each terminal at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport serves many airlines and a large number of destinations. Each terminal has a variety of restaurants, bars, newsstands and shops. Business services, banks and ATMs are also available.

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 is the larger of the two terminals, offering 85 gates as of 2003. At the middle of the terminal is the "Esplanade", a waiting area well supplied with shops and services; radiating out from this center are the Gate sections for embarking and disembarking. Currently, they are organized into four sets of gates: A, B, C, and D. The A Gates section offers up to 24 gates for passenger use; B Gates, 24; C gates, 24; and D, 43. There are plans to build extra capacity into the D Gates section, turning it into an X shaped building and so doubling the number of gates it offers for use.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 offers eight gates. The Federal Inspection Services operate a 24 hour service in Terminal 2.
